Marceline Mason

Marceline Mason is a Detroit-based artist whose work investigates the overlooked and ephemeral corners of urban environments, reimagining them as ethereal, tonal nocturnes. Reversing the role of the figure and the environment, Mason’s work depicts portraits of plant life set against a human world of light pollution and graffiti. In 2017 Mason received her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art with a focus in painting.
